**Casual Disability Support Role Available**

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We have an exciting opportunity for a casual Disability Support Worker to join our team.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day care and support to participants with disabilities. This may include:

  • Personal care while ensuring the individual's privacy and personal choices are respected
  • Community access and transportation
  • Providing active support to residents based on their goals
  • Medication administration
  • Liaison with families
  • Medical and other allied health appointments
  • Documentation

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Follow person-centred support plans and behaviour support plans respectfully
  • Participate in community activities and encourage clients to perform daily living tasks
  • Track and document an individual's progress through thorough record-keeping
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with our clients and their families

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates as per NDIS requirements
  • A current unrestricted Driver Licence
  • A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals of people with disabilities
  • The ability to develop a positive relationship with service users and to support their Individual Personal Plan
