Job Title: Experienced Support WorkerWe are seeking a reliable and experienced staff member to join our team supporting a young man transitioning from home life with his family into SILS.This is a permanent part-time position with 25-32 hours per week, requiring the successful candidate to be available for afternoon shifts, overnight supports, weekends, and some morning shifts.The ideal candidate will possess 1 year of experience in disability support work, hold a valid WWCC, first aid certification, and national police certificate, as well as being active, fun, patient, empathetic, and compassionate.We offer an employee mentoring program, professional development assistance, and travel reimbursement, making this an attractive opportunity for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a young man with SILS needs
  • Provide ongoing and regular support
  • Work various shifts, including afternoons, nights, and weekends
Requirements:
  • 1 year experience in disability support work
  • Valid WWCC, first aid certification, and national police certificate
  • Active, fun, patient, empathetic, and compassionate personality
