Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker in Wollongong.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Operations Manager to implement participant's individualised care plan.
  • Assist participants to access their local community and attend appointments as required.
  • Assist participants to complete their personal/self-care routine and activities.
  • Provide capacity building assistance (e.g. travel training/financial management) - where applicable.
  • Support their independence through guidance of decision making.
  • Monitor client's behaviour and oversee the implementation of their activities.
Requirements:
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Unrestricted Driving Licence.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or National Police Check.
  • Prior experience working with mental health clients and organisations.
