Field Research Officer

Job Overview: Roy Morgan is proud to announce the Domestic Tourism Statistics study, a project funded by the Federal Government department of Austrade. This initiative measures domestic travel across Australia, contributing to the national economy and tourism industry.
Position: As a Field Research Officer, you will undertake professional and accurate data collection, including observations and interviewing the public with neutrality. You will be in the field gathering survey data and opinions on domestic tourism across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Conduct market research interviews or equivalent customer engagement.
- Maintain professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
- Work 20+ hours per week, including weekdays and weekends.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of data collected.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle.
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Fluent English language proficiency (spoken and written).
- Legal right to work in Australia.
Compensation:
- $34.19 p/h
- $0.95 per kilometre for use of your own vehicle (where applicable).
- Reimbursement for job-related expenses and application fees for required checks.
