About the Central Land Council
The Central Land Council is a corporate Commonwealth entity covering over 750,000 square kilometres in the southern half of the Northern Territory, promoting Aboriginal rights. As a statutory authority under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976, it operates with functions under the Native Title Act 1993 and the Pastoral Land Act 1992.
Role Overview
This is a full-time on-site role for a Payroll Officer at the Central Land Council located in Alice Springs, NT. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing payroll administration and services
- Coordinating payroll taxes and financial tasks
- Providing effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
