Electrical Power Engineer Opportunity

  • The role involves contributing to the development, contract, and implementation of natural gas and renewable energy generation projects as an Owner's Engineer or Advisor.
  • This position is part of a market growth strategy focusing on utility scale power and renewable energy industry design and project execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams for power generation design projects, including supporting traditional Owner's Engineering roles.
  • Mentor young engineers, manage client relationships, and lead marketing activities such as proposal technical writing, fee builds, and work breakdown structure development in response to RFPs.
  • Contribute to power generation and distribution design, protection and motor control design, power system studies, and balance of plant designs (e.g., raceway, lighting, grounding).
  • Draft engineering design and equipment specifications; provide design and engineer of record work for power plant systems.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager and Project Controller on project reviews as needed and direct activities of other engineering professionals.

  • Expertise in power generation and distribution design.
  • Strong understanding of protection and motor control design, power system studies, and balance of plant designs.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
