Senior Mechanical Power Engineer Role
Job Description:
- The Senior Mechanical Power Engineer is a key role in our national power generation team, responsible for leading the project mechanical team and providing mechanical engineering support for detailed design and owner's engineer projects.
- Key responsibilities include leadership of project teams, coordination with other engineering disciplines, monitoring and communication of project status, and provision of technical expertise in mechanical engineering.
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in power generation design.
- Professional Engineers (PE or P.Eng) license.
Deliverables will include construction drawings, bid specifications, mechanical equipment sizing calculations, technical memos, bid evaluations, code reviews, feasibility studies, reports, and cost estimates.
Preferred candidates will have significant experience in utility-scale power generation systems and equipment, with a proven ability to plan, schedule, and lead design projects effectively.
