Job Description

This senior leadership role is focused on leading the design of complex, scalable and secure solutions for a major banking client. The successful candidate will bridge business requirements with modern technology solutions, ensuring that end-to-end architectures align with enterprise strategy and regulatory standards.

The key responsibilities of this role include leading the end-to-end solution design process for complex banking initiatives, developing and reviewing high-level and low-level designs, architectural diagrams, and integration blueprints.

The candidate should have hands-on experience building REST APIs and event-driven integrations using Kafka, strong understanding of microservice architecture patterns and cloud-native design principles, and ability to create and interpret UML diagrams, HLD/LLD documents, and technical documentation.

Additionally, the candidate should have preferred technical skills such as React, Angular JS, Java 8 and 17, CI/CD pipelines, API design patterns and anti-patterns, API Gateway & Service Mesh integration, writing performant, scalable backend code, security in microservices and API ecosystems, and familiarity with legacy backend technologies.

Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, and certifications in Architecture, Cloud or Agile methodologies are a plus.
