We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Manager/Sr. Specialist – Solution Design to join our consulting practice and lead the design of complex, scalable, and secure solutions for a major banking client. You will play a pivotal role in bridging business requirements with modern technology solutions, ensuring that end-to-end architectures align with enterprise strategy and regulatory standards.

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Manager/Sr. Specialist – Solution Design to join our consulting practice and lead the design of complex, scalable, and secure solutions for a major banking client. You will play a pivotal role in bridging business requirements with modern technology solutions, ensuring that end-to-end architectures align with enterprise strategy and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end solution design process for complex banking initiatives.
• Develop and review high-level (HLD) and low-level designs (LLD), architectural diagrams (UML), and integration blueprints.
• Guide development teams through architectural best practices, with a hands-on approach to technical leadership.
• Collaborate with product owners, enterprise architects, security teams, and business stakeholders.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and contribute to technical solutioning in pre-sales cycles as required.
• Ensure architecture and design decisions align with non-functional requirements, including performance, security, and scalability.
  
  

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience building REST APIs and event-driven integrations using Kafka.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture patterns and cloud-native design principles (containerization, service mesh, API gateways, etc.).
• Ability to create and interpret UML diagrams, HLD/LLD documents, and technical documentation.
  
  

Solid experience with

• React
• Angular JS
• Java 8 and 17
• CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git)
• API design patterns and anti-patterns
• API Gateway & Service Mesh integration
• Writing performant, scalable backend code
• Security in microservices and API ecosystems
• Familiarity with legacy backend technologies including JSP, EJB, and Struts.
  
  

* This is a permanent full time role*

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Certifications in Architecture (e.g., TOGAF), Cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure), or Agile methodologies are a plus.
