Job Overview

We are seeking a Public Relations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to support the agency in meeting its outcomes.

About the Role

The Communications and Contact Centre section provides specialist external and internal communications and stakeholder engagement advice to support the agency in meeting its outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication strategies for external audiences
  • Internal communications
  • Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage multiple projects within changing priorities
  • Identify areas for improvement, provide content advice and initiate change

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a related communications discipline
  • Well-developed written and oral skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as with different teams in a fast-paced environment
  • A degree or diploma or post graduate diploma from an Australian tertiary institution or a comparable overseas qualification, with a major in public relations, communications or stakeholder engagement will be highly regarded
