The Australian Defence Force is seeking a highly skilled Public Relations specialist to work closely with the Australian Army, enhancing its public image and reputation.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Draft press releases for media distribution, effectively communicating the Army's achievements and initiatives to the public.
- Develop strong relationships with defence beat journalists, fostering a positive narrative about the Australian Army.
- Assemble engaging visual content featuring Army personnel and activities for promotional materials, showcasing the bravery and dedication of our servicepeople.
- Organize media awareness training for servicepeople, equipping them with the skills to effectively communicate their stories and experiences.
- Provide strategic counsel to Army command staff on sensitive matters involving uniformed personnel, ensuring that the Army's reputation is protected and enhanced.
The ideal candidate will be an Australian citizen between 17 and 56 years old, possessing a proven track record in PR, journalism, marketing, and corporate communications. They should also be mentally and physically fit for basic military training and willing to be stationed at ADF bases in major cities across Australia.
