We are a leading supplier of earthmoving wear parts for mining, construction and infrastructure with an extensive network of branches and warehouses.

Our company is expanding its operations into Government projects including Defence and renewable energy infrastructure.

We have a national presence in Australia and supply to countries where we have identified significant growth opportunities.

We are looking for an experienced public relations professional to be based in Australia who has experience liaising with Australian and overseas governments.

The key responsibilities will include:

- Developing strategic publicity campaigns and communication strategies to enhance our reputation in Australia and abroad
- Managing perceptions of the company and building relationships
- Providing public affairs and issues management advice to management
- Crafting narratives that resonate with audiences through strategic press releases, social media, and public events
- Undertaking effective media liaison duties and preparing and distributing media releases
- Organising promotional events, press conferences, and other activities that foster goodwill and strengthen community ties
- Representing the company
- Monitoring media coverage and public sentiment, providing insights that help shape future communication efforts

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5 years' experience dealing with high level government officials and senior corporate executives with a proven track record.

The ability to write and speak English is a prerequisite whilst proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese will be a strong advantage as our focus outside Australia will be the Pacific Rim and Latin America.

Frequent travel will be required.
