Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor. This role will be based in Canberra, ACT, and will play a key part in delivering the Light Rail Stage 2A project.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to build effective relationships and provide advice on community communications. They will also prepare and manage community communications, assist with communications planning, and identify stakeholder issues.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about community engagement and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate communications and marketing principles, as well as experience in community relations and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Public Relations or Marketing;
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in community relations and stakeholder engagement in a complex environment;
  • Corporate communications and/or marketing experience is desirable;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
