Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accountant to join our team at SS&C Technologies Holdings. As a Fund Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting for our clients.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent accounting skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management reports, including the preparation of financial statements and other relevant documentation.
  • Statutory Reporting: Prepare and lodge statutory reports with regulatory bodies, including APRA returns and annual financial statements.
  • Taxation: Prepare and lodge tax returns, including income tax calculations and PAYG withholding.
  • Reconciliations: Review and reconcile all fund general ledger bank accounts and member-related reconciliations.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g. CA, CPA).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent accounting skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
