CGC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join their team in the fit out and construction industry.

About the Role
  • This is a key role where you will be responsible for preparing subcontractor tender packages, scope of works, contract documentation, and procurement schedules.
  • You will also prepare head contract progress claims, submission and evaluation of variations, manage upstream and downstream activities, and administer RFIs to clients and consultants.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Contract Administrator with a similar contractor or projects. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations is essential, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare subcontractor tender packages, scope of works, contract documentation, and procurement schedules.
  • Prepare head contract progress claims.
  • Submission and evaluation of variations.
  • Manage upstream and downstream activities.
  • Administer RFIs to clients and consultants.
  • Assist the Project Manager with daily operations.
  • Maintain project document control.
  • Build relationships and negotiate with suppliers.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Contract Administrator with a similar contractor or projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Australian working rights.
