Environmental Health Specialist

Key responsibilities include conducting detailed safety reviews of complex hazardous operations to ensure safe execution, leading or assisting in incident investigations, and developing and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.

This role requires a professional who can provide technical expertise and assist in the implementation of environmental, health, and safety programs. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health or related field, 5+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety disciplines, and strong knowledge of process safety management methods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough safety assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation
  • Investigate incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for environmental, health, and safety programs

A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety disciplines
  • Strong knowledge of process safety management methods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
