Job Description:

We're seeking an Environmental Health Specialist to provide technical expertise in implementing environmental, health, and safety programs at our Starship rocket development and test site.

As a key member of the team, you'll work closely with engineers and technicians to review complex hazardous operations for safe execution.

You'll lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action development, and develop compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, and other regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with test engineers and technicians to review complex hazardous operations for safe execution
  • Incident Investigation: Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action development
  • Compliance Development: Develop and maintain compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, and other regulatory agencies
  • Health and Safety Programs: Implement safety and health programs, including HAZCOM, confined space, fall protection, and radiation safety
Additional Requirements:
  • This position requires relocation to Brownsville, TX, if not already local
  • Occasional extended hours and weekends may be required
