We are seeking an experienced Head of HR Policy Development to join our team and contribute to the development of effective HR policies and procedures.



Salary


The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from $144,477 to $152,810 per annum, reflecting their exceptional skills and experience.



Job Description


In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with the department's strategic objectives.


You will lead a small team of specialists and work closely with senior management to provide expert advice on HR governance and policy issues.


Your key accountabilities will include:



  • Managing the TMR HR policy framework to support the efficient, effective, and responsible management of human resources across the department.
  • Leading the development and review of policies and procedures within the TMR HR policy framework.
  • Providing high-level advice to senior management on strategic HR governance and policy initiatives.
  • Building and sustaining partnerships and networks with internal and external stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.
  • Leading continuous improvement of quality policy processes through collaboration with operational areas.
  • Maintaining the department's HR Management Delegations, including providing advice to HR delegates, managers, and employees.
