About the Role

The Archdiocese of Brisbane is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Community and Corporate Relations. This is a permanent full-time opportunity that will play a critical role in promoting the Church's mission and building strong relationships with our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic fundraising initiatives to support the Archdiocese's mission and goals.
  • Foster and expand community relationships through partnerships with schools, businesses, parishes, and community groups.
  • Enhance the reputation of the Romero Centre through targeted engagement and public relations campaigns.
  • Manage budgets, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Generalist HR experience, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training.
  • HRIS software proficiency and experience working within a not-for-profit organisation.
  • Health and community services recruitment experience, with a focus on understanding the specific skill sets required.
Personal Qualifications
  • Exemplifies good character and embodies the Archdiocese's values with integrity and personal drive.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to inspire teams and build positive relationships.
  • Adaptable to change and flexible in improving processes and responding to growth.
