Job Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at The Westin Brisbane.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate guest's needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates.
  • Coordinate Front Office operations during shift, including Front Desk, Communications, Concierge and Driveway to ensure guest service excellence and adherence to the Hotel's standards and procedures at all times.
  • Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures.
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures.
  • Audit and reconcile all revenue postings.
  • Complete Quality Assurance room inspections and regular property walks, ensuring that any maintenance needs are attended to on a timely basis.
  • Evaluate and assess customer satisfaction by listening to their feedback and using it as an opportunity to learn and improve.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification or proven relevant industry experience.
  • The drive to consistently deliver the very best.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster with full availability.
  • Opera knowledge advantageous.
