Companion Support Role

  • Provide person-centred support in personal care, domestic assistance, and social activities for clients.
  • Develop engaging programs to assist clients with community access and participation.
  • Offer emotional support, inspiration, listening, and connection to help individuals navigate challenges.
  • Collaborate with our team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes client well-being.
  • Adapt service delivery and support as needed to meet client goals and objectives while following the support plan.
  • Promote and assist clients to live an active, healthy, and positive lifestyle.
  • Follow organisational policies, regulations, and procedures at all times.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required.
Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a support role or similar is preferred.
  • Current valid Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • High level of time management and organisational ability.
  • Certificate III and above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Community Service or Disability will be an advantage.
  • Satisfactory Australian National Police check, Working with Children Check, NDIS worker screening check, or willingness to obtain these documents.
  • Current or willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR certificate.
