At Uniting, we're seeking a compassionate Companion Care Specialist to join our team. This rewarding role involves providing personalized care and support to older adults in their own homes, empowering them to maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

About the Role

This part-time position offers stable shifts that can be tailored to suit your schedule. You'll work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care that meets the unique needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, including housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation
  • Provide personal care services, such as bathing, dressing, and administering medication
  • Accompany clients on outings and assist with social activities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this role, you'll require:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
  • Similar experience in client-centered care
  • A current First Aid certificate
  • A valid driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
