Job Title: Sector Lead Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Resources Sector Lead to join our team in Australia. As a key customer-facing point of contact, you will have a strong track record in government-industry engagement and business solutions capabilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders across different sectors to drive targeted working groups and achieve defined outcomes.
  • Lead a geographically dispersed team, leveraging leadership and management expertise to deliver exceptional results.
  • Nurture deep and trusted relationships with customers, delivering an outstanding experience.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Australia's resources sector nationally, with a focus on the North West Shelf Oil and Gas Industry client base in Western Australia.
  • Familiarity with the Bureau's products and services, including tropical cyclone expertise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a similar role within a government agency or industry body.
  • A proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
