Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our specialist support and projects team. This is an excellent technical opportunity, joining a fantastic team of peers with the opportunity to take your career to new heights.

The role involves providing technical maintenance, support services within agreed service levels along with maintaining technical documentation. You will be part of our extensive technical operations business who support each other working collaboratively across locations.

You'll be responsible for the support of Citrix environments, including remote support and ad-hoc onsite visits when required and participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support. You will also be responsible for requirements gathering and working on Citrix and NetScaler projects for customers.

This is an ideal position for someone looking to utilize their expertise in Citrix and NetScalers to scope and work on projects, while sharing knowledge and expertise through coaching others in the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops Administration and configuration
  • Netscaler Administration and configuration
  • User profile management via UPM, FSLogix, and Ivanti DesktopNow
  • Windows Server Systems Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Server technology products
  • Managing workloads and resources with public cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
  • Managing virtual environments utilising infrastructure such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Sound knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies using tools such as Veeam, NetBackup and CommVault
