The Project Support Officer plays a vital role in the successful delivery of a project stage.
This position requires a professional with experience in providing support within complex environments, preferably in the public sector.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Governance Documentation: Assist in preparing project status reports, steering committee papers, and briefing notes.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate with stakeholders to ensure governance requirements are met and maintained.
- Project Team Support: Manage approvals, escalations, and reporting processes for project teams.
- Administrative Support: Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes.
- Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and distribute project documentation, including reports, plans, and presentations.
- Project Monitoring: Ensure alignment between project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Register Maintenance: Develop and maintain project registers, including risk, issue, and decision registers.
- Records Management: Provide Records Management Support for project teams.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report on project budget, schedule, and resource usage against key performance measures.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communication Coordination: Coordinate and collate project information using high-level communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in providing project support within complex environments.
- Understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in fast-paced environments.
- Current holder of a Class C driver's license.
- Experience working on large infrastructure projects.
