Facility Operations Director

As a leader in our organisation, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility in Sydney. The primary focus of this Operations Manager position is to maintain a consistently safe, compliant, profitable and cost-efficient environment.

A typical week involves collaborating with colleagues and managers to deliver the daily plan to customers. This includes coordinating resources and equipment for forthcoming days and weeks.

Utilising your expertise in Continuous Improvement, you will support efficiency and productivity while prioritising safety.

Closely working with frontline leaders, you will acknowledge and reward team members for their excellent work, developing a strong, values-based culture.

Monitoring and managing costs to reduce waste and maximise value against contract requirements is crucial.

Determining labour and equipment requirements aligned to shift, workload and safety obligations will form an important part of your role.

We are seeking a seasoned people leader who prioritises safety and is customer-obsessed, ideally familiar with retail/distribution operating frameworks.

Qualification in Logistics Management or a relevant business discipline is advantageous, combined with a solid understanding of profit and loss and other KPIs that help control storage, handling and distribution costs.
