Job Summary:

The role of Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and compliant operation of a facility in Sydney.

This involves collaborating with colleagues to ensure a well-planned approach is in place to deliver daily objectives to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams, prioritizing safety, and driving Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

About the Role:
  • Key responsibilities include managing resources, equipment, and costs to minimize waste and maximize value against contract requirements.
  • Collaborating with frontline leaders to recognize and reward team members for their achievements and foster a strong, values-based culture.

Closely monitoring and actively managing costs is an essential part of this role. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of profit and loss and other key performance indicators (KPIs) that help contain storage, handling, and distribution costs.

About You:

We're looking for a seasoned people leader who shares our commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Ideally, you will have experience working within a similar retail/distribution framework and be familiar with key challenges and opportunities associated with this model.

A qualification in Logistics Management or a relevant business discipline would be beneficial, combined with a solid understanding of KPIs that drive business success.
