Operations Director

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our dairy facility.

  • Lead and manage daily site and dairy production operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality output.
  • Actively participate in production processes where required – this is a hands-on role.
  • Oversee compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage procurement, inventory, and supplier relationships.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a small team to achieve operational goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement in production, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Work closely with stakeholders on strategic growth opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in dairy or food manufacturing management (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of production processes, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Hands-on and practical, with the ability to step into operations when required.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to build a positive team culture.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commercially minded with experience managing suppliers.
