We are seeking a skilled specialist to provide assessment and intake services to children and young people. The role involves working within a broader team to assess, develop treatment plans, conduct risk assessments, and implement short-term interventions for those who have experienced abuse, trauma, or neglect.

This is a maximum term full-time position that requires the successful candidate to ensure compliance with incident management, reporting, and escalation requirements. They will also be responsible for liaising with relevant authorities, gathering historical information, and contributing to reflective practice sessions.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a therapeutic care setting or clinical environment. They must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Speech Pathology, Education, Family Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatry, or Mental Health Nursing
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Therapeutic Care setting or working in a clinical environment with children and young people in Out of Home Care
  • National Criminal History Check and Working with Children's Check
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence
