Operations Director Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Director to lead our client-centric operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving commercially focused operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery that meets client expectations.

About the Role
  • The Operations Director will oversee the development and delivery of operations, including managing and coordinating work areas during day-of-operation.
  • This involves managing Ground Handling Agreements and Service Level Agreements, as well as leading team members to achieve high levels of performance and service excellence.

In addition, the Operations Director will manage simultaneous complex business issues with competing demands in a sensitive environment. This requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of commercially focused operations, ensuring efficient and effective service meeting client expectations.
  • Manage simultaneous complex business issues with competing demands in a sensitive environment.
  • Lead significant stakeholder engagement and consultation to deliver diverse interests and demands.
  • Develop and implement communication plans, business strategy, and customer-centric culture.
  • Develop and provide quality metrics and reporting on critical business issues.
  • Lead and embed a positive safety culture within the team, focusing on awareness and vigilance.
Requirements
  • Extensive leadership experience with customer-centric orientation and ability to drive a service culture.
  • Highly developed communication skills and excellent presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated record of achievement in building relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Previous experience in a highly controlled industry with ability to lead and manage ongoing compliance, industry standards, and legislative requirements.
  • Able to work 24/7 rotating shifts as operationally required.
