Director of Operations

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Director of Operations to join our centre at Seaford House Sanctuary of Early Learning.
Our state-of-the-art environment offers a homestead-like atmosphere with wonderful outdoor play spaces, a thriving art studio, a centre bus for excursions, a herb and vegetable garden, and a team of passionate educators.
At our centre, we aim to create safe, loving, and homelike spaces for children, enabling their exploration of identity and belonging. We prioritize educator wellbeing through our wellbeing program, offering unlimited access to our wellness space, staff kitchen, and adults-only retreat.
About the Role:
- You will work closely with the Managing Director on day-to-day operations and step up to cover that role in their absence.
- You will build positive relationships with team members, children, and families, demonstrating warmth, compassion, and strong time management skills.
- You will provide support to both families and educators to get the most out of our centre.
- You will focus on quality improvement, supporting teams to understand and follow our centre's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Children Services or Early Childhood Teaching Degree
- Employee Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid Qualifications, including CPR and Anaphylaxis
