About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team in Port Macquarie, NSW. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients and provide individualized rehabilitation programs to support their return to health and return to work outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with employers, employees, medical professionals, and allied health professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Conduct assessments using clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.
  • Deliver our innovative virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery, to help clients understand pain and re-train their brain and body.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology and registration with ESSA.
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded.
  • Fabulous communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential qualities for this role.
  • Well-developed time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
