The Parks Infrastructure team is seeking a skilled Parks Asset Inspector to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering scheduled asset inspections, identifying risks, and managing asset defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Conduct thorough assessments of capital and renewal works, allocate costs to assets, and rate the condition of refurbished assets.">
  • Perform regular inspections of park assets to meet NSW audit requirements, including recording condition ratings in the council's spatial asset system.">
  • Utilize council information systems to evaluate parks assets, identify defective assets, and recommend rectification actions while applying risk mitigation practices.">
  • Maintain comprehensive records of inspections and actions to minimize risk exposure.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • A diploma in business management, project management, or a related field.">
  • Qualifications or training in ArcGIS.">
  • Experience in playground inspections.">
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.">
  • Experience in infrastructure maintenance and operation.">
  • Proficiency in ArcGIS, TechOne, Microsoft Word, and Excel.">
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.">
