This is an exciting chance for a skilled professional to contribute their expertise to the maintenance of public parks and open spaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring these areas are well-maintained, working collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives.
About the RoleThe role involves:
- Planned and reactive arboricultural, horticultural, turf maintenance, machine operations, landscaping and/or related traffic management activities for Council's parks and open space assets.
- Guiding and supporting operational staff on site to ensure completion of all allocated work.
- Reporting any identified work request variations to Team Leader to ensure Council parks and open space assets are well maintained.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing feedback and contributing to team processes to improve service delivery, safety and compliance.
About YouWe are looking for someone with the following qualifications and expertise:
- Minimum Cert III Parks & Gardens, Horticulture or Landscape.
- Experience in a relevant field.
- A SafeWork NSW white card (general construction induction card).
- Current Driver's Licence Class C.
- Current MR Licence as required.
- Current 'Chem Use' accreditation OR willingness to obtain during probation period.
