Park Asset Manager

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Parks Asset Inspector to join our maintenance crew. As a key member of our infrastructure management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the City's parks and assets are well-maintained and meet NSW audit office requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of capital and renewal works to determine asset condition ratings.
- Develop and implement effective inspection schedules for council park assets to identify defective items and mitigate risks.
- Utilize council information systems to assess park assets and maintain accurate documented records on all inspections and actions.
- A degree in Business Management, Project Management or a related field would be advantageous.
- Qualifications or training in ArcGIS would be an asset.
- Experience with playground inspections, risk assessments, and risk mitigation practices is essential.
- A background in maintenance and operation of infrastructure would be beneficial.
- Proficiency in using ArcGIS, TechOne, Microsoft suite including Word and Excel is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial.
- A permanent full-time opportunity.
- An attractive remuneration package from $96,262 to $106,006 plus 12% Superannuation.
