Park Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Park Maintenance Specialist to join our parks team.
This role involves maintaining and improving Council's parks, reserves, sports fields, road reserves, cemeteries, gardens, and beaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining parks and open spaces, including reserves, sports fields, and cemeteries.
- Mowing, edging, weeding, and pruning gardens and lawns.
- Treating pests, diseases, and weeds.
- Cleaning and maintaining park facilities, including playgrounds and recreational infrastructure.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Practical experience in horticulture and maintenance of parks, gardens, and open spaces.
- A valid driver's license and confidence operating plant and equipment.
- Reliability, motivation, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding and adherence to workplace health and safety requirements.
- Commitment to maintaining safe, welcoming, and well-kept community spaces.
