Senior Valuation Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our market-leading valuation team.

  • Lead the preparation of high-quality accounting valuation reports and advice for a range of purposes.
  • Undertake robust valuation assessments based on the full range of valuation methodologies.
  • Oversee valuations research offering value-added insights into comparable companies and transactions, industry trends and market conditions.
  • Drive business development initiatives and participate in activities with a focus on growing the firm's valuations practice.

You will take the lead on a variety of engagements from start to finish, including business and share valuations for tax and accounting purposes, valuations to support transactions, Independent Expert Reports and Purchase Price Allocations.

About This Role

This rare opportunity has become available in our Sydney valuations team for a senior valuation professional.

You will be responsible for leading a team of valuations professionals on client engagements from end to end, providing coaching and development opportunities to team members on technical valuation matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant degree or accounting/finance professional qualification(s)
  • Significant accounting valuations experience, ideally gained within an accounting, boutique valuations or investment firm setting
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to provide coaching and leadership to less experienced team members
  • Autonomous working style with a sense of ownership, personal accountability, and pride in what you do
