Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Valuation Expert to join our team in the Financial Services sector. As a key member of our valuation team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality valuations and financial modelling services to our clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to work on valuation projects across various sectors, including management planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), tax, financial reporting, and disputes. You will take ownership of project delivery, managing and preparing valuation reports and detailed financial models.

You will think critically, identify issues, and propose strategies related to the advice being provided. Your ability to maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with client personnel and colleagues is essential to your success in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in valuation within the Financial Services sector
  • A degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business, with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Possessing a CFA credential or actively pursuing one
  • Direct experience utilising various valuation techniques and methodologies (market comparables, discounted cash flow, etc) for different purposes
  • Experience in financial modelling in MS Excel and related software preferred
  • Experience conducting valuations for accounting and/or tax planning purposes is desired
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organisational, interpersonal, and teaming skills
