Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage our payroll operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll legislation and regulations, as well as experience working within and managing an outsourced or partially outsourced payroll model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embed the outsourced payroll model and improve efficiency.
  • Act as key point of contact and build strong relationships with payroll providers.
  • Troubleshoot and respond to employee payroll queries in a timely manner.
  • Support payroll activities remaining in-house, such as responding to employee queries and conducting data audits.
  • Lead a team of 1-2 Payroll Specialists.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in payroll.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources/ Business/ Commerce/ Law discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation and regulations.
  • Experience working within and managing an outsourced or partially outsourced payroll model.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and HR Systems (e.g. Workday).
  • Strong analytical skills and time management skills.
