Job Overview:

The Production Manager is responsible for leading a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the masonry manufacturing process.

This includes supervising staff to complete their duties in a timely manner and ensuring that production machinery and equipment are operated in a safe and responsible way.

The role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise production staff to ensure they are completing their tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor equipment and immediately address any mechanical or production issues.
  • Liaise with maintenance staff to ensure regular maintenance and servicing are completed.
  • Conduct quality control checks to minimize waste and ensure high-quality products.
  • Develop and implement effective operational procedures to improve productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership position in a manufacturing or production facility.
  • Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
