The Digital Products team at Rio Tinto is focused on delivering strategic products that drive digital transformation across our business. We're seeking a highly skilled Product Design Lead to join our team and contribute to this exciting initiative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design efforts and create exceptional user experiences for digital products.
  • Provide strategic direction for digital product development, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation within the design team.
  • Conduct user research, create user personas, and define user journeys to inform design decisions.
  • Design and prototype solutions using industry-standard tools, such as Figma, Axure, Sketch, Zeplin, and Adobe CC.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Product Design practitioner with a background in user experience design.
  • Demonstrable expertise in designing for large datasets, complex data models, and AI-powered features.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative problem-solving skills, conceptual thinking, and UX maturity.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, human-computer interaction, human factors, computer science, visual design, communication design, or related discipline.
