About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Return to Work Professional to join our team at Gallagher. As a key member of our claims management team, you will play a vital role in supporting injured workers and employers through the return to work process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of injury rehabilitation principles and experience in developing and implementing return to work plans. You will be responsible for facilitating regular face-to-face visits with injured workers, employers, treating health practitioners, and allied health professionals to promote early intervention and support.

Your expertise will also be utilized to educate stakeholders on the return to work process, legislative requirements, and premium impact. You will collaborate with vocational providers to achieve return to work outcomes and communicate with all relevant stakeholders to develop a Work Plan (Service Plan) regarding the return to work process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and attend regular face-to-face visits with injured workers, employers, treating health practitioners, and allied health professionals;
  • Educate stakeholders on the return to work process, legislative requirements, and premium impact;
  • Collaborate with vocational providers to achieve return to work outcomes;
  • Communicate with all relevant stakeholders to develop a Work Plan (Service Plan) regarding the return to work process;
  • Educate injured workers on the benefits of utilising specialists, services, and available support to assist in achieving agreed return to work goals;

About You

  • Previous experience and qualifications in injury rehabilitation or workers compensation claims management;
  • Demonstrated experience in developing return to work plans using SMART principles;
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills;
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of organisation;
  • A strategic mindset and approach to work;
  • A strong sense of team and collaboration;
  • A resilient attitude;

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including:
