Job Opportunity

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the activities of the maintenance team to provide top-notch support services and ensure optimal site maintenance levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate trades personnel, including plumbers, painters, flooring specialists, and general construction contractors.
  • Ensure that preventive and corrective maintenance work is performed by the Buildings & Grounds team.
  • Update and maintain preventive maintenance schedules in the computerised maintenance management system.
  • Assist in coordinating, supervising, and managing day-to-day activities of contractors, including instructing them to complete scheduled work, addressing urgent maintenance requirements, and monitoring quality of work completed.
  • Verify and approve contractor's invoices for work performed.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary degree in Engineering or Trade background with sub-professional qualifications.
  • Experience in facilities maintenance or building and grounds maintenance.
  • Awareness of quality and hygiene requirements applicable in pharmaceutical industry as reflected in cGMP regulations.
  • Solid knowledge of management principles applied to site facility maintenance and service contracts.
  • Proficiency in computerised maintenance management systems.
