Engineering Data Support Specialist

The role of Engineering Data Support Specialist is a critical position that requires strong analytical and technical skills to maintain engineering master data in SAP, supporting preventive maintenance, calibration, and materials management across our manufacturing site.

In this dynamic environment, you will work closely with engineering, validation, and production teams to ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include managing and maintaining engineering master data in SAP (Assets, PM schedules, Calibration, Materials).

You will perform data cleansing, transformation, and uploads using tools like LSMW. Additionally, you will respond to service requests and troubleshoot system issues. Conducting system testing and support upgrades or fixes are also key components of this role.

As an Engineering Data Support Specialist, you will generate reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI to support decision-making. Delivering training to new users and supporting continuous improvement are also essential responsibilities.

Ensure data quality and compliance with GMP and regulatory standards (TGA, FDA, EMEA) are top priorities. A tertiary qualification in Engineering or Science, or 3+ years in a similar technical role, is required. 2–5 years' experience in engineering data, maintenance systems, or pharmaceutical manufacturing is also necessary.

Your Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Science, or 3+ years in a similar technical role.
  • 2–5 years' experience in engineering data, maintenance systems, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Strong SAP experience (S/4HANA preferred); LSMW desirable.
  • Advanced Excel and familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or QlikSense.
  • Understanding of GMP/cGMP and quality systems in regulated environments.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication.
