Seeking a strategic leader to oversee Right to Information and Privacy (RTI&P) for our central agency. As the head of our RTI unit, you will lead the management of RTI applications for the department, the Office of the Premier, and the department's portfolio bodies.

Our ideal candidate has exceptional judgement skills, understanding of government processes, and expert knowledge of RTI and IP legislation. You will navigate advice to clients & stakeholders with sensitivity and provide strategic leadership and expert advice on RTI and IP obligations.

This is a varied and intellectually stimulating role where you'll make your mark by leading teams, providing expert advice, and overseeing privacy activities, including complaints under the IP Act.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the management of RTI applications for the department, the Office of the Premier, and the department's portfolio bodies.
  • Provide strategic leadership and expert advice on RTI and IP obligations.
  • Oversee the department's privacy activities, including complaints under the IP Act and reported breaches of the IP Act.
