Job Title: RTI and Privacy Expert Leader

 

The role of RTI and Privacy Expert Leader is a high-profile position within our organization, requiring exceptional leadership and management skills to oversee the effective implementation of Right to Information (RTI) applications.

 

As an experienced leader in RTI and privacy, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and advice on the management of RTI applications, as well as overseeing our department's privacy activities.

 

  • Lead the management of RTI applications
  • Provide strategic leadership and expert advice on RTI and IP obligations
  • Oversee the department's privacy activities

 

About This Role

This varied and intellectually stimulating role offers the opportunity to drive the ongoing implementation of changes introduced by the Information Privacy and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2023.

 

You will use your exceptional judgement and communication skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with clients, departmental staff, stakeholders, and the public.

 

This role requires drawing on prior experience as a team leader and an RTI decision-maker, as well as expert working knowledge of the systems of government and government processes, to lead, develop, and coach a team of RTI practitioners.

 

About You

We are looking for an experienced RTI and privacy professional who can navigate the sensitivities and complexities associated with managing RTI applications for a central agency.
