About Governance and Integrity

We provide policy and operational advice to the Premier and government departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage RTI applications for the department, the Office of the Premier, and portfolio bodies.
  2. Provide strategic leadership on RTI and IP obligations.
  3. Oversee privacy activities, including complaints under the IP Act and reported breaches.
  4. Implement changes introduced by legislation.

The Ideal Candidate:

We seek an experienced leader with expertise in RTI & P who can navigate complexities and sensitivities. You will use exceptional judgment and communication skills to work collaboratively with clients, staff, stakeholders, and the public.

You will draw on your experience as a team leader and RTI decision-maker, along with your knowledge of government systems and processes, to lead, develop, and coach a team of RTI practitioners to:

  1. Make and supervise defensible decisions under the RTI Act.
  2. Ensure the department's capacity to deliver expert advice and sound RTI decision-making.
