Expert RF Systems Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Systems Coordinator to join our team. As an RF Systems Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing satellite earth station operations, maintaining diverse RF systems, and leading projects on the systems.

The Day-to-Day:
  • Respond to alarms and document issues in the ticketing system.
  • Remotely work with external vendors on troubleshooting, resolution, and improvement activities.
  • Coordinate with on-site vendors during RF device installations.
  • Create, update, and maintain gateway-related documentation.
  • Dissect complex issues by combining schematics, automated data, and other resources.
  • Manage or provide support for projects related to gateway networks.
  • Provide after-hours and weekend on-call support for AU systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in RF Communications.
  • 5+ years of experience running gateway uplink antenna systems or similar projects.
  • Experience maintaining Satellite or Terrestrial Microwave Earth Stations.
  • Proficiency in using RF test equipment such as Spectrum analyzers and Signal Generators.
  • Experience mentoring and leading individuals in the RF space.
  • Ability to perform 24x7 On-Call support.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Legally authorized to work in Australia.
What Will Help You Succeed:
  • Working knowledge of IP encryption devices, Ka/Ku band RF equipment, tracking antennas, and communications theory.
  • Experience with Monitor and Control System software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Network system support and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience working in ticketing systems.
