RF Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled RF Engineer to coordinate satellite earth station operations, track antennas, and maintain diverse RF systems. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience running gateway uplink antenna systems or earth stations, as well as experience with monitor and control system software.

This role involves coordinating with vendors, creating and updating documentation, and dissecting complex issues. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required for success in this position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Responding to alarms and documenting incidents and resolutions
  • Working with external vendors on troubleshooting and improvement activities
  • Coordinating with on-site vendors during installation
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for gateway-related procedures
  • Dissecting complex issues using schematics and automated data
Requirements
  • A 2-year Associate Degree or equivalent in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in running gateway uplink antenna systems or earth stations
  • Experience with satellite or terrestrial microwave earth stations
  • Knowledge of IP encryption devices, Ka/Ku band RF equipment, and tracking antennas
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Project management skills
