The Learning and Development position is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for designing and delivering training programs that cater to the needs of adults. This involves developing accessible and communicable resources, ensuring they are culturally appropriate and aligned with our Cultural Practise Framework.
About the Role
As a Learning and Development Worker, you will work closely with program staff and users of our Mental Health and Well-Being Connect Centre. Your primary focus will be on creating engaging workshops and resources that promote effective learning outcomes. You will also collaborate with the Cultural Practice Lead to ensure cultural safety and relevance in all training materials.
Requirements and Qualifications
We seek an individual with a strong commitment to our organizational values and purpose. The ideal candidate will possess certificates, diplomas, or degrees in learning and development or facilitation, as well as skills and experience in adult education and group facilitation. Familiarity with content and resource development, including digital information, is essential. While not mandatory, lived experience working with carers who support individuals with mental health challenges is highly desirable.
